How We Use Information
We use information to operate accounts, publish artist pages, deliver fan notifications, protect the service, understand internal usage, and improve Backstory.
Artist and Fan Notifications
Fans may follow artists and receive email notifications when those artists publish new content. Fans can stop following artists or unsubscribe from these messages when those controls are available.
Internal Analytics
Backstory may record public page visits and related technical metadata for internal developer and admin reference. These viewing stats are not shown on public artist pages or artist dashboards.
